News from the world of Room 311... possibly the best room this side of the Great Attractor. Or, as Nic Ross puts it: Ernie and Bert meet Beavis and Butthead on an extraordinary journey discovering the very nature of space and time.

SF2
ps -- when is this SF2 tounament going to kick off? i'm more than willing to chip in for a console and game -- i think ebay is the best place to get it, but i haven't got an account or anything... tiger!
I reckon it might be more fun to invent a time machine and go back to the early nineties to get a new one. We'll need to be incognito so I'll be sourcing us some Reebok Pump/Puma Disc some lumberjack shirts and Tshirts with pictures of basketball players on them. We'll have to insert extra nineties words like 'Cowabunga' into our diction.
I am pretty sure I have an "old" Sega MegaDrive residing in my room in the east coast shanty scotty town of Edwin's borough. I also remembering purchasing "Super Street Fighter 2" (16 characters and you can play with the same characters against each other) and 2 6-button joypads, which Sega brought out especially for this game.
Although not the original SNES version with the L and R buttoned joypad, I thought SSF2 on the Smega was actually pretty neat.
Also, even though it would take a little bit of time and trouble, I am willing to cross the boarder and see if I can locate said harware for the purposes of a SF2 Tournament!!
I found the snes at Gamestation in Lancaster, and the Morecambe branch had a street fighter 2 cartridge. The cartridges were two for the price of one and the snes had a couple of games bundled with it so I also have starwing, super mario allstars and pilotwings. We may need another controller though because one of the ones I have is a bit dodgy.

if only i had my global hypercolour(?) tshirt still... those things were amazing.
I'm sorry guys abou the lack of action there...we've not sourced a Super Nintendo Entertainment System (TM) yet, so plans are on ice.
I'm kinda relying on Craig to do the business on eBay. Nic Ross mentioned something about his brother maybe having one somewhere, I'll chase him up!
