i love my trash tv
i have a problem -- i'm addicted to trash tv. perhaps addicted is a little strong, but i certainly love my jeremy kyle, most haunted, x-factor, etc. much to the derision and contempt of those around me.
i wonder - as an 'academic' should i be watching something more high brow (panorama, question time, equinox, tomorrow's world spring to mind), or is it ok to immerse myself in this world of dna tests and lie detectors?

I think its also a good idea for Jim(1) to get aquainted with lie detector tests and paternity suits.
I can see it now, a year from now, Jim(1) on a sofa, Trisha with a mike on him while some Sharon swears that the baby is his. She can tell because apparently "women know these fings". But she can't be sure because she did sleep with the bouncer and two of her cousins that night. Oh and a taxi driver. She thinks.
The girl from Bristol wasn't called Sharon was she?
