another week

another week passes, doesn't time fly when you're having fun?

as per usual, i think we're off to the pub to soak up the last of the sunshine today -- i'd imagine we'll stay out for the foreseeable. quite productive in the office today, wouldn't you agree john? i've managed to write a nice little code to align two images with basically no user intervention. seems to work pretty well. think john's been working on his paper.

trip into town

as i usually do on a sunny day, i had a walk into town to pick up a sandwich. it's like a scene from cocoon down there! i hate dawdlers, and their militant faction the swervers who manage to get in your way even when you attempt to avoid them.

seen a film advertised on tv starring steven segal (no relation to benjamin livingstone)... looks like it's straight to dvd, and called... brilliantly... "today you die". looks like a classic retribution beat em up.
