the telescope's just gone bust, and we have come down the mountain for the night, since it looks like the problem is not trivial to fix. it's been a good couple of night's observing so far, and we've got quite a lot of data to bring back...

...coming back wednesday pm, so i think i should be in the uk on friday all going well. hope all is well in 311. best, jim
