first, many apologies for the long break in postings. i went on holiday and (selfishly) neglected to tell you. luckily i picked up a good story along the way. i won't post it now, i'll wait till i have some more time later. suffice to say it is a heartbreaking (and heartwarming) tale of a deformed blackbird: a one-winged, no-tailed creature i called Icarus. his is a story of survival and a battle against the odds.
